Introduction to Buddhism: Wat Bang Rieng Temple

Wat Bang Rieng, about a one hour drive from Ao Nang, is one of the most beautiful and peaceful temples in Thailand.
Located on a mountain top and surrounded by lush tropical forest, very few tourists find their way to this temple, while many Thais come here to give alms and receive a blessing from the monks.
During your visit here you are free to walk around at your leisure to experience the serene atmosphere, and even to take part in a simple ceremony performed by the monks.

During this half day you will get a good view and introduction into the Buddhism, our special selected guide will explain you and teach you about this peaceful and interesting philosophy.
After spending time at the temple, we travel back towards Ao Nang, stopping
an orchid farm on the way and for a lake-side lunch at the charming Krabi Fishing Park, with fantastic limestone “Karst” scenery.
After Lunch we go back to the hotel and you can enjoy and bring with you the lessons of Thai Buddhism.
